CDC Biot Dun

The CDC ( Cul de Canard ) Biot Dun (Comparadun) is one of the first flies Shane Stalcup tied using CDC material. This was around 1990 and Shane decided to substitute CDC feathers for the traditional deer hair used to tie the wing. He believed that the CDC offered excellent air trapping qualities that results in tremendous floatability.
