Dry Flies
The dry fly is a type of fly that imitates an aquatic insect that floats on the surface of the water and is one of the most exciting ways to fly fish. The fish comes to the surface of the water to eat the fly and often does so with an aggressive splash. Dry flies are designed in many different varieties, usually they are made to "match the hatch" of the insects you may be seeing in the air or landing on the water.
