Special Purpose Knots
Here are some rope knots that don't quite fall into the other categories or need a category of their own. Many of these knots are super useful to know for various purposes such as Common Whipping to control the strands or fibers at the end of a rope. Also here are some Stopper Knots such as the Stevedore Stopper to add bulk to the end of a rope, often to aid in throwing the rope.
